Effective packaging and labeling ensures that our items are protected, safe and reach our customers. On top of that it helps our customers to easily recognize and trust our brand.
In support of our business strategy and related branding ambition to position our company as a category of one, we strive for consistent brand representation across our products and business units.
Our B2B product packaging & labeling playbook serves as your practical guidelines for applying our brand identity to your B2B packaging solutions and labels. Please carefully review our design system and implementation guidelines.
Our product packaging and labeling across the organization comes in many different shapes and sizes. That's why we've created a flexible system with design principles and guidelines that best reflect our brand.
These principles and guidelines indicate how the logo and typography should be applied, how we integrate sustainability and how to produce packaging and labeling solutions that are brand consistent, regardless of type or size.
For existing product packaging and labeling, we ask to utilize the provided examples to ensure brand consistency and quality in (re)production.
For new products not covered in the playbook, we refer to the design system and examples outlined to establish packaging standards that align with the brand identity and logo application requirements.
Please share your applied design for review via branding.support@dsm-firmenich.com prior to producing or implementing these.
For any current technical limitations regarding the application of the brand design, please also contact branding.support@dsm-firmenich.com for further guidance.
In line with the general rebranding timeline, we aim to implement the rebranded packaging and labeling as quickly as possible, with a target to finalize mid-2025.
Using the principles and guidelines from the playbook, it is up to the business to arrange the applied packaging and labeling designs. Please arrange a brand check prior to implementation.
Incorporating new packaging and labeling design is also subject to any management of change process as determined by the business and requires a check with your regulatory business partner for any specific local rules or requirements.
Incorporating the new designs does not mean that the legal entity name mentioned on the labels changes. Any change in names of legal entities will be communicated separately.
Products that are part of the ANH carve out are of scope.
